Full Disclosure: Because this movement uses a modified 7750 base to replicate the HUB1280 functions, the case thickness is approximately 15.5mm (slightly thicker than the Gen’s ~14.5mm), and the rotor noise is audible in a silent room. This is a standard trade-off for a fully functional chronograph at this price point.

Q: Does the chronograph function work like the Gen?
A: Yes. The start/stop/reset pushers are fully functional. The sub-dial at 3 o’clock correctly tracks up to 60 minutes, which is a major upgrade over older replicas that could only track 30 minutes.
Q: Is the ceramic fragile?
A: Ceramic is incredibly hard (scratch-proof), but it is brittle. While it won’t scratch from daily wear, dropping it on a hard tile floor could crack a lug. Handle with the same care as a mechanical instrument.
Q: Is it waterproof?
A: We advise treating it as water-resistant (splash/rain proof). Due to the complex pusher construction of the Unico case, we do not recommend swimming with it unless you have it pressure tested locally.
